TESLA Powerwall

TESLA Powerwall is a battery for your home which allows you to store power. Connected to a solar system, it stores excess power produced by the solar system which has not been used in your home.

A solar system is a ‘use it or lose it’ resource. If your solar system generates more electricity than you need to power your home, the excess is fed into the grid. After dark, the panels stop producing power and then you buy power from the grid for your homes’ energy consumption.

By storing your excess solar power using Powerwall, your homes solar generation becomes an all day resource, decreasing reliance on the grid during the evening hours, or in the event of a black out. If the battery is full, the excess electricity is fed back to the grid.

Powerwall detects power outages and will automatically become your homes energy source when the grid goes down. Reducing your reliance on the grid reduces your electricity costs and your homes carbon footprint.

The TESLA Powerwall is connected to the TESLA app, where you can monitor your home’s energy production and consumption in real time. You can set your preferences to optimise your energy independence, outage protection or savings. Instant alerts and remote access allow you to control your system from anywhere.

A Powerwall system consists of at least one Powerwall battery and a Backup Gateway. The Backup Gateway provides energy management, metering and monitoring functions for Powerwall. It controls connection to the grid, safely disconnects your home and starts backup operation during an outage. The Backup Gateway includes communication functions for up to 10 Powerwall units, and receives updates for the system via a Wi-Fi connection.

The Powerwall comes with a 10-year warranty. Tesla guarantees the battery will maintain at least 70 percent of its capacity to hold charge during that time period.

Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM

The B-Box Premium HVS/HVM Series are scalable modules capable of high-powered emergency backup. They provide off-grid functionality, and are compatible with both single and 3-phase battery inverters including the ground-breaking Fronius Gen24 Hybrid Plus

Compatible with both single-phase and 3-phase inverters, B-Box Premium modules are suited to larger residential and commercial off-grid applications.

The BYD battery box is floor mounted and indoor rated (IP55). It is compatible with Fronius Gen24 hybrid inverter and has a 10 year warranty.
